St. James the Great
The Church of St. James the Great, Shirley is above all, a church of the community that it serves. It is very much a living church; growing and changing with Shirley itself as they both move forward into the future.

St. James' Church is situated on the Stratford Road in Shirley. It was built in 1832 and began life as a Chapel of Ease to Solihull Parish Church. The Church is open for private prayer each day between 9am and 5pm/dusk.
