We firmly believe that the Christian faith is about growing – growing in our understanding of God, our love for God and our commitment to him in our daily lives. Just as we would judge the health of a plant in our garden by whether it was growing or not, so we can see how healthy our faith is by asking a simple question – am I growing?

In Shirley Parish we seek to help people grow with thought-provoking sermons as part of our worship, by supporting people to establish habits of prayer and reading the Bible, and by encouraging people to take part in various courses and discussion groups.
