Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). You can find more information on Parish Safeguarding, including contact details for our PSO here.
Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.

News and Updates

Forest Church will be in the garden at St John's Tidbury Green, B90 1PW

this Sunday, 30th June at 6pm.

This time we'll be looking at flowers, and thinking about what they might tell us about God and about ourselves.

Please come dressed for the weather, and bring something to sit on if you like.

And maybe bring a flower from your garden?

It's all very informal, and open to everyone - why not come and see?

In case you'd forgetten, the General Election is on July 4th! In preparation, why not...

Pick up and use a Pray Your Part booklet, available in our churches. There's a

non-political Bible reading and reflection on a range of election issues for each day from now until July 4th, providing some ideas to ponder on.

The readings and reflections can also be accessed via a daily email by registering here.

Make sure you have acceptable Voter ID  - and don't forget to take it when you go to vote!

A prayer for the planet

God of justice and compassion,
we cry to you for the future of planet Earth.
We repent with tears
for our failure to manage its resources fairly
and for our short-sighted greed and selfishness.
Stir up in us and our leaders at this time,
a new determination to act
for the good of the poorest among us,
and for the blessing of all creation.

Be Still..... and pray

May the Love of Christ surround us

The Light of Christ lead us

The Peace of Christ fill us

The Power of Christ aid us

The Joy of Christ thrill us

The Presence of Christ

Be with us evermore.

Amen.
